How do I request a booking?+
Choose your vehicle, get your own Cuvva quote, then enter your dates and details. After owner approval, your private booking page will let you pay the rental charge securely. Insurance is paid separately to Cuvva.
Is there a deposit to pay?+
Choose the standard date-based rental price with a refundable £150 car deposit or £250 van deposit, paid separately before handover. Alternatively, choose zero deposit for an additional £15 per 24 hours for cars or £20 for vans. Other applicable charges still apply.
Can I collect from Whitechapel or Hoxton?+
Yes. Whitechapel and Hoxton are both collection points. Your confirmed booking message will include the collection details.
What is the mileage policy?+
200 miles per paid 24-hour period for standard hires, 150 for weekly hires (7–27 full days), or 100 for monthly hires (28 full days or more), pooled across your booking. Extra miles cost 55p for cars or 65p for vans. Mileage is recorded at collection and return.
Can the price change for certain dates?+
Yes. Prices may vary by vehicle and dates. Your booking estimate shows the relevant price, and we confirm the final total before you drive.
What do I need at collection?+
Please bring your driving licence, the required proof of approved insurance cover and the agreed rental payment. Contact us if you have any questions before your collection time.
Will you check my driving record?+
We may ask for a DVLA share code so we can verify licence categories, penalty points or disqualifications with your permission before approval.
Can I change or cancel my request?+
Yes — message us as soon as possible with your booking details. We will let you know what options are available.
